Look, we've been doing this green building thing since before it was trendy. Started back in 2011 when most folks thought solar panels were just for hippies. Now? It's how we design everything - because honestly, there's no excuse not to.
We don't just slap some energy-efficient windows on a building and call it green. Real sustainability means thinking about everything - from where materials come from to how the space'll actually be used twenty years down the road. It's about creating buildings that don't just look good on paper but actually work for the people using 'em.
Using natural ventilation, daylighting, and thermal mass. Sometimes the best tech is no tech at all.
Local sourcing, reclaimed materials, low-VOC everything. Your building shouldn't smell like a chemistry lab.
Solar integration, geothermal, high-efficiency HVAC. Cutting those utility bills while we're at it.
Rainwater harvesting, greywater systems, drought-resistant landscaping. Vancouver's got plenty of rain - might as well use it.
Yeah, we do the certification thing. Not 'cause we love paperwork (we definitely don't), but because these standards actually push us to design better buildings. Plus, clients appreciate having third-party verification that we're not just making stuff up.

Filter by what you're interested in - we've done everything from tiny Passive House homes to big commercial builds. Each one's got its own story and unique challenges we had to figure out.
This one was fun - client wanted a family home that'd basically heat itself. Triple-glazed windows, super-insulated envelope, and an HRV system that works like a charm. Their heating bills? Under $200 a year. No joke.
Type: Residential
Probably our most complex commercial project. Six-story office building with rooftop solar, rainwater collection, and a green roof that's become the unofficial lunch spot. The building actually generates more power than it uses on sunny days.
Type: Commercial
Eight-unit development where we used reclaimed Douglas Fir throughout. The wood came from an old warehouse - way better quality than anything you'd get new. Plus the character's unbeatable. Each unit's got its own rainwater system for the gardens.
Type: Residential
This 1912 brick warehouse was a mess when we got it. But instead of tearing it down, we restored the facade and built a super-efficient interior. The contrast between old brick and modern sustainable systems? Chef's kiss.
Type: Heritage
Retail on the ground floor, offices above, and residential units on top. The trick was making sure each zone had its own climate control without wasting energy. Ended up being 40% more efficient than code requires.
Type: Urban Development
Our first certified Net Zero home. Solar panels, geothermal heating, the works. The owners haven't paid an energy bill in two years. And yes, that includes running their hot tub year-round. The future's here, folks.
Type: Residential
Retail space that actually feels good to be in. Tons of natural light, living green walls (which also help with air quality), and a ventilation system that adapts to occupancy. The tenants tell us their customers stick around longer now.
Type: Commercial
This project was all about bringing the neighborhood together. Community center, affordable housing, and shared green spaces. We used local materials wherever possible and designed it so people actually want to hang out there.
Type: Urban Development
Small space, big impact. This 800-square-foot laneway house punches way above its weight in terms of efficiency. Heat pump, smart ventilation, and enough solar to cover most of the electrical needs. Proof that sustainable doesn't mean big.
Type: Residential
Whether you're starting from scratch or retrofitting an existing building, we can help. We've worked on everything from single-family homes to large commercial developments, and honestly, every project teaches us something new.
We'll sit down with you, figure out what makes sense for your budget and goals, and skip the greenwashing BS. Sometimes the most sustainable choice isn't the flashiest one - it's about what actually works long-term.
